Who is FT Technologies?

FT Technologies is a global group of companies specialising in innovative process technology. The Group consists of three companies:

Flavourtech Pty. Ltd.

Flavourtech was founded over 25 years ago in Griffith, Australia.

The company is the owner and developer of Spinning Cone Column (SCC) technology - a unique distillation system. Through application of the technology to a diverse range of industries, Flavourtech has developed extensive experience in aroma recovery, alcohol removal, deodourisation as well as flavour and soluble solids extraction.

Following an extensive R&D program, Flavourtech developed an Integrated Extraction System (IES) based on the SCC and Centritherm. The IES has set new standards in the production of high quality beverages such as tea and coffee.

Flavourtech provides worldwide technical support, including spares, service and trial facilities from a number of locations around the world.

FT Industrial Pty. Ltd.

FT Industrial is a privately owned Australian company that was established in 2001.

In September 2001, the company purchased the Centritherm evaporator technology from Tetra Pak AB in Sweden and immediately commenced an extensive review of engineering standards, manufacturing procedures and product specifications. The resulting changes and introduction of new models has resulted in a dramatic increase in sales worldwide.

FT Industrial markets both new and factory rebuilt Centritherms. It also provides technical support world-wide, including spares and service, for new Centritherms and those installed by Tetra Pak and Alfa Laval prior to FT Industrial's purchase of the technology.

Flavourtech Research

Flavourtech Research manages the intellectual property of the Group and undertakes research projects to optimise existing technologies and develop new processes.
